One thing that's been lacking from the total experience of releasing Hackers has been feedback. As you might guess from looking at our forum no one has posted comments in favor of, hated the game or just plain indifferent about it. This condition has also extended to the publishers of casual games and game reviewers. We have been accepted by a total of five publishers and been reviewed once but this is only a fraction of the overall number of publishers and reviewers we've submitted to. I had a list of 15 reviewers I sent queries to and I know William had at least half that many on his list. And William has submitted to ALL the publishers that are active on the net, three months ago.
What's the deal here? Is everybody asleep at the wheel? Has the market become so over-saturated that this is the norm? To be honest the lack of response has been akin to Chinese water torture.
So the only people we have left to turn to are our customers. To those who have purchased the game, or even tried the demo, and might one day cruise through these forums, please drop a comment on the game. Good, bad or other doesn't matter, just something to show us the market hasn't totally ignored us.
